Heather Society event 27 September Wisley

The Heather Society members and visitors will meet outside Wisley entrance between 10.30 am and 10.45 am on 27 September. We will walk to the Heather Garden at Howard’s Fields.
John Hall of John Hall Plants Ltd has kindly agreed to make available heathers for sale on the day at the Hillside centre. As an added incentive any new member joining the Heather Society at the event will be presented with a special pack of 6 heathers.
There will be a lunch interval at 12.30 to 2 pm.
At 2 pm there will be a special Erica Workshop to give members and visitors the chance to see a demonstration of how to propagate Ericas from seed. This will involve both European species and South African species. There will be a competition and the winner will receive a special heather plant. There will also be an opportunity to see a PowerPoint presentation of heathers in gardens and in their natural habitats.
Tea and cake will be available.
