Riverside Park Perth
Awarded the coveted RHS Champion of Champions title in 2019, the volunteer led bloom group " Beautiful Perth " was also awarded the title of Best Park in the UK for the second year running, their heather collection being pivotal in its success. Their exciting project to plant a new, national collection of heathers on the scenic banks of the River Tay has evolved in to the potential to be the largest and most comprehensive heather collection on Scotland. The garden already hosts 650 species of heather, with a primary focus on Erica carnea.
