‘Chaldon’

Deep ruby (H5) globose flowers with beetroot pedicels and sepals; VI-X; dark green foliage; open erect habit ; height 26-30cm; spread 31-45cm. A seedling found by John Gilbert in his garden (Chaldon, Caterham, Surrey, England) which has, perhaps, the darkest flowers in this species. Registered 31 October 1998: J.
